nexus Apply

Preview · Founders season, fall 2026

Your inventory, working harder.

Nexus gives vendors and card shops one place to sell close to market, borrow against slabs without selling them, and earn on cards you don't own.

By application · Southern California first · About 90 seconds to watch

The spread you live with

A $5,000 slab shouldn't leave your table for $4,000.

Dealers at shows pay 75–85% of market value. Selling straight to a collector gets 90% or more, but it takes time and buyers you might not have that week.

That gap pays for four things: capital, risk, time and access to buyers. Nexus covers the first three and pays you for the fourth.

What you walk away with on a $5,000 slab

Dealer at a show$4,000

Sold through the Nexus network$4,512.50

Illustrative: a network sale at 95% of market, after our 5% success fee. Nothing is charged if it doesn't sell.

How it works

One loop, from your table to paid.

  1. Verify

At a partner shop or our show desk: cert check, photos, weight and a tamper seal, in about 10 minutes.

  2. Value

A 30-day cash value from real sold comps, with a confidence level you can tap.

  3. Choose

Sell through the network, borrow against it, or keep it on record.

  4. Settle

Buyers pay into escrow. Money releases after delivery and a 48-hour check.

  5. Get paid

Your payout lands with a receipt, and every sale sharpens the next price.

The Account Arrives October

Every slab gets a record that follows it.

Your Account is the proof behind every slab: what it is, where it is, what it would sell for in a bad month, and whether it's pledged. When it sells, the Nexus Verified record goes with it, so the next owner doesn't start from zero.

  • Cert checked against the grader's record
  • Photos, weight and a tamper-evident seal
  • Cash value for a 30-day sale, with the sales behind it
  • Custody and collateral status on one timeline

Higsby, your AI operator Arrives December

Higsby does the homework. You make the call.

Hand Higsby a collection and it drafts the work: identity checks, comps, a cash value, an offer range and which partners already want the cards. Nothing moves until you approve it, and every number comes from code you can check.

  • Prices a walk-in collection before you make an offer
  • Matches your slabs to partners' want lists
  • Drafts listings and floors for the network
  • Never moves money or approves its own work

The partner network Arrives October–November

Earn on cards you don't own.

Every verified slab in the network shows up in your storefront, under your name. When your customer buys one through your link, escrow pays out and you earn 2% of the sale, or 3% at the top tier.

Your own aged slabs reach every other partner's customers too, so they sell near market instead of at a dealer's discount.

$10,000

You'd earn $200 a month at 2%, or $300 at the top tier.

$10,000

About $1,000 more than a dealer's 80%, netting about 90% through the network.

Credit Arrives November

Borrow against your slabs without selling them.

When cash is tight before a show or a collection buy, borrow against inventory you already hold. Every line is sized to what your slabs would fetch in a bad month, so it stays safe for you and for us.

Same-day advances

Up to 50% of cash value when you consign a sale as a business seller, repaid from escrow first.

Inventory lines

$5K–$50K against pledged slabs, in draws sized to your show calendar.

The Nexus case

Carry network slabs at your table, secured by your line. Unsold slabs come back within 72 hours.

Credit is offered through our funding partners, for business purposes, subject to approval. You see the full terms before you accept.

The league Arrives October

The partner side plays like a season.

Card people love the chase. So the partner side runs like a league, scored on price achieved and clean deals, never on raw volume.

The Combine

A 10-minute tryout: price ten slabs and spot the fakes. Your score sets your starting tier.

Drops and the Monday Night Draft

New slabs release twice a week. Pick the ones you'll champion, in snake order by standings.

Seasons

Monthly standings for side-hustle vendors, full-time vendors and shops. Winners move up a tier and get their next show table paid.

The Friday recap

What you earned, where you stand and which wants matched.

Skill-based, with published rules. Buyers and sellers never see the game.

Two people approve money

Every advance, larger draw and collateral release needs two approvals.
